Meet Our Executive Chef: William Darrah
Chef William Darrah joined the Stagecoach Inn in February 2022 with a vision: to create an unforgettable dining experience that honors the flavors of the Adirondacks. A Saranac Lake native, William has spent over two decades in the kitchen, honing his craft under some of the region’s most respected chefs, including David Cunningham, Christopher Bellanka, Justin Hoyt, and Nicky Berrachough.
His resume includes local favorites like Bitter & Bones, Brown’s Market Bistro, Top of the Park, and the renowned resort, The Point.
“Hands down some of the best food I've ever had. Everything from the unique cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts was truly the best. The chef is an incredibly nice guy and extremely talented. Definitely check this place out when you're in Placid. It's worth it.”
